Botebakal Project Volunteers @ CNN I-Report's Habitat For Humanity

Disclaimer: Handsigns by the so-called volunteers pictured doesn't necessarily reflect
Botebakal Project's views or opinions.

Following the principles we've learned from Dire Husi that organizations must have the ff. : a) Main function ( e.g. an art group's main function is to produce art) b)business aspect (for the group's survival in the long run) & lastly, c)humanitarian activities in mind.

So for the "humanatarian" part, Botebakal Project decided to respond to  Habitat For Humanity's challenge of volunteerism , held from June 27-30 2012

PATIKI Tattoo Competition @ Bahay Kubo

1st Greenhills Summer Arts Festival Culminating Activity

Last May 27 2012 , Greenhills Memorial Park hosted an On-the-spot Painting contest open to artists of two categories: Amateur  & Professional.

Participating artists were asked to select landscapes within the vicinity as a subject for their paintings, and were given the time period of 9am until 5 in the afternoon to finish their pieces.

Botebakal Project sent their member Tof as a response to the "call of an art challenge" since our resident painter Leonil was out of town during the scheduled date of the competition.

On May 31 2012, The awarding & presentation of winners for this event was held in SM Cagayan de Oro. The paintings were also put up for exhibit there from May 27 until  the first week of June.
