November 24-Performance Arts @ Art.Ref.Euge/ Banda Ni Papet Highway Video Launch

Last November 24, different theatre actors/actresses , performance artists, poets, battle rappers, including PAK ( http://www.facebook.com/PerformingArtsKolektib ) had a gathering / sharing of performances @ Art.Ref.Euge, soon to be the newest art hub in town.

Simultaneously, there was a cosplay event + Streetfighter/ Tekken tournament @ RPM that we were not able to cover unfortunately due to time constraints & limited personnel. If you guys could send us event pictures ,we'd use/ feature those here and credit you as photographer. 

Finally, congratulations to Banda Ni Papet for a successful video launch of their song "Highway", held @ Punchbowl Music & Booze.

November 21-COLLEGE ROCK 6

College Rock is an on-going event that takes place @ Punchbowl Music & Booze "every other Wednesday" of the month, where bands from Soundtable  ( http://www.facebook.com/xusoundtable ). Support our local musicians & music scene, Cagayan de Oro!

November 17 - Workshop + Nocturne

Last November 17, BOTEBAKAL PROJECT was fortunate enough to cover two rare local events. First was a workshop on theatre & acting in Art.Ref.Euge ( http://www.facebook.com/artrefeuge.cdo ).

Afterwards, was a gig at Punchbowl Music and Booze
( http://www.facebook.com/pages/PUNCHBOWL/116682471703414  ) in cooperation with Small Time Only Promotions ( http://www.facebook.com/smalltimeonlypromotions ) & Bammerstudio that features the return of one of the city's local bands, ALMOST SATELLITE, as well as the now Cebu-based KAAPIN.

October 28, 2012 was a night of looking back at the achievements of an organization that has been through a lot. It was a night of reuniting & feasting with old  inspirations/ role models,& friends that transform into fire benders overnight.  It was a night of almost non-stop dancing, woodstock style ska + tribal beats fusion, groovy guitar solos, tear jerking duets, etc. courtesy  of The Patatas Band & other musicians who have renewed their membership with Dire Husi initatives as an organization.

October 20's Simultaneous Gigs: De Calibre@Club TILT// Kontektarkoni 3 @ Karomata//Ska Night @ Punchbowl

Back in September we had simultaneous events to cover, we missed  visiting artist Gloc 9's performance  - http://botebakalproject.blogspot.com/2012/09/punchbowl-turns-1-gloc-9-fiesta-event.html

The scenario on the 20th of October was somewhat similar , only instead of two, THREE simultaneous events were held. First was Mr. Bo Daclan's relaunching of his Wall Magazine dubbed as "De Calibre" at Club TILT. 

Then there's SKA NIGHT @ Punchbowl participated by Cagayan de Oro's leading as well as the up-and-coming Ska bands.

Finally, for my part (Botebakal Project's Tof here), I participated in Rap Batikos Rap Battle during  Support Local Talents Group's Wordplay Connection Battle event dubbed "Konektarkoni 3", all on the same night.
