2012 was truly Botebakal Project's year. We formed, we tested the waters, got tried, and got hung out to dry. We had our fair share of highs and lows in the organizations' 12 months of humble existence.
Being in this project made us aware of the local movements & allowed us to appreciate our city more. That being said, we'd like to take this late opportunity to thank everyone who has been part of our project throughout the year.
Having to leave for the holidays put a little pressure on me (Tof here blogging). I felt obliged to make my last day/night on the city for that year at least half as awesome as the events we've come to experience & take part of as "Botebakal Project".
And so during that fateful night of December 21st 2012- I skated my way out of home to experience the contents you would find in this blog entry. SPOILER ALERT: It involves some of the city's most promising bands, beatbox & battle emcees, breathtaking visual art, breakdancing human statues, blazing fire dances, & then some.
Opening of 3D Visual Art Park @ Divisoria Amphitheater
Beatbox + human statue + live band
Patatas Band playing some ska music for everyone's enjoyment
Live fire dance by Talentadong Pinoy finalist
"3D" Paintings
The league of extraordinary local talents:
Human statue, beatboxer / vocalist, musician/visual artist/ Art Organization leader/ Northern Mindanao NCCA Coordinator, BMX hobbyist/ Firedancer, musician

Later that night, headed to RPM Bar to meet with Eggmen Productions to plan a then-upcoming gig. Stayed to jam with the live acts afterwards.
And for one last stop before finally heading home to prepare for my trip, had an impromptu rap battle or two @ Roots Bar afterwards with some of Support Local Talents Group's emcees & bar patrons.
